This is my favorite browser by far. Been using it for a few years now but after the latest update it's nearly impossible to use.
Keeps crashing once in a while not a big issue but the biggest issue is that it keeps resetting to factory settings all the time, even though i have a Dolphin account to sync my bookmarks and everything else.
Please get this fixed, i miss my dolphin and don't like Chrome at all. I'm about to delete this browser even tho i love it. Please fix it. The one and only reason I downloaded this app was the ability to listen to videos in the background Technically, you can still browse the internet hence 2 stars instead of 1 , but it is no longer designed to focus primarily on a good user experience.
That is sad to me given how much I liked Dolphin Browser in the past. The sponsored shortcuts keep getting added back profit chasing or just bad programming? I see there are data privacy concerns from others, but now the functionality benefit is gone too. I use dolphin as my secondary browser to keep certain long read tabs open—I use it every day and love the tab organization, the gestures function, and even the themes.
Today though, it has been unusable. On both my iPad and my phone the app opens with a black white box in the middle of the screen. The box looks like a pop up function but no options pop up to open close or read anything. I have restarted my phone, I have open and closed the app. The issue remains. My only other issue recently is some weird bug with bookmarks—they all delete and seem to cycle through default options every other day.
