Unfortunately, however, the AI has to be delayed for this patch whilst we work to resolve some significant issues. The main reason for this is because the spawning system they currently use seems to have a huge performance hit on servers, resulting in players being unable to interact with each other pounce stops working entirely, for example and characters teleporting around.
As well as this, we have run into a few issues which include, but aren't limited to, the AI occasionally being invisible in various circumstances, the AI losing aggro very quickly if it cannot reach a player, and the AI becoming stuck in water sources, making for easy and unrewarding kills. Whilst we know that AI is a long awaited addition, we believe that performance should always come first in these scenarios, especially given the time it has taken for the update to be prepared for release.
